The Formula of AlternativesHow to transform stereotypical responses in new spaces for development

The opening of an organization to the new context defines their development potential. The alternatives do not depend on the context. The context provides possibilities. The alternatives depend on the decisions of a person or group to transform an open landscape in new spaces for development. possibilities + opportunities = alternatives

Emerging contexts are constantly creating new situations, some of which are unpublished and unpredictable. The alternatives are not in the context, because context has no alternatives. The alternatives depend on the decisions of people who address specific situation with a specific purpose. The application of the formula is based on the transformation of the contents of its components.
The objective of the application is to extend the possibilities and expand opportunities to create a favorable context of alternatives. In this sense, work is oriented to:

EXTEND THE CONTEXT.
This means addressing the POSSIBILITIES to expand, redefine and transform context characteristics. This involves: a) Incorporate new protagonists in the dynamics of events, b) Identify processes that influence (positively or negatively) the relationships between the actors of the context, c) Project possible states that transform the characteristics of the context in the future.

RESHAPE THE IMAGES.
This means addressing the OPPORTUNITIES to reframe, refine and revise the interpretations and explanations about the context possibilities. This involves the following questions: a) Update the cognitive framework to expand interpretations of events, b) Clarify personal and collective attitudes that influence the interpretation and explanations of events, c) Revise stereotyped patterns of behavior that affect the explanations of the facts.
